CRMC round 4 - Cadwell June 19/20th

Cant remember much about this meeting except E1 got a couple of thirds behind God and Dogless on the saturday. Then in the race on Sunday the sky got more and more grey and it started spitting with rain as we got the final call for the race. E1 jumped on the #2 bike, God took all 15 bikes down to the holding area and Dogless just put his wets on (which happen to be same as his drys....!). On the first lap of the race the heavens opened in impressive style. Dogless was away, God was second and E1 was third (again). Then God's visor misted and E1 took him and was gaining rapidly on Dogless. But the surface water was biblical and scary, the bike was aqua planing in style down the back straight which is in fact a very frightening corner in the wet. The run down to mansfield was a river. About 10 seconds before the race was red flagged E1 lost it going in to the hairpin in the mountain section which meant Zero points. Doh. Dogless got the win. God was gifted second.
